An Australian digital artist/programmer/animator

Multi-skilled across a number of disciplines and cultures: an experienced (and award-winning) digital artist, animator, computer programmer, researcher, lecturer, teacher and biological scientist

Has been working with computers since 1979 and was an international pioneer in 3D computer animation, digital art and later, interactive multimedia

Currently lecturing in Digital Media at the Creative Arts program Melbourne University

Most recent work investigates writing, Integrationist theory and human-computer interaction

Current artistic and research interests integrate embodied and tangible post-desktop human-computer interaction with specific learning activities, particularly those that are remedial (e.g. assisting with various learning difficulties) and/or socially useful

Previous artworks include the internationally award-winning CD-ROM Postcard From Tunis and the more recent interactive installation artwork Gold Leaf
